Hourglass is a higher-end cosmetic line with which I’ve had very good experiences with. They consistently win in the product quality and package design department.
This particular Aura Sheer Lip Stain comes in a beautiful, weighty gun metal grey tube with a felt tip applicator. A few twists and you get the perfect amount of product on the tip. No oozing extra product all over the place. The packaging was very well thought out and executed. I have a feeling this is where most of the budget went for this project.
The lip stain itself is a bit on the thin side and doesn’t last very long. It didn’t last through breakfast for me. It does, however, blend very nicely. It might work better as a cheek stain.
The color, Flush, is bubblegum pink. Great if you’re a Go-Go dancer. I wish they had more color options available for this, because as of now there are only 3.

The company claims that this product is fragrance-free, which is not true. It’s got a definite peppermint scent. Peppermint can cause skin irritation. Personally, I like to avoid any fragrance in my cosmetics because they make my skin itch.
For $26 I’d say it’s pretty overpriced for what you get in terms of the product.
