Makeup has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. First, as a mesmerized toddler getting into my mom’s supplies, then as a young woman who wouldn’t let overdraft fees get in the way of prestige brand longings, and later as a professional makeup artist needing to keep up on the latest and greatest … for research purposes, of course.
Now in my early 30’s, I’ve realized that my obsession for beauty will never fade! In my life as a mom, photographer, writer, and makeup artist, I’m searching for the best values, and have witnessed that price really doesn’t mean a thing when it comes to finding fantastic cosmetics that will put a gleam on your skin and a smile on your face.
My vision with Painted Ladies was to create an online magazine of sorts, a centralized location where makeup industry pros as well as real women who happen to love and use makeup, could convene to share, learn, and grow. Two years into this blog, I’m proud of what has been accomplished and excited for the possibilities ahead!
