Umlaut. That sneaky little word prevented me from taking 1st prize at a spelling bee my junior year of high school. Somewhere, on a video tape that’s hopefully long lost in a pile of junk, I am on stage at a community center wearing my mom’s floral prairie dress and a velvet choker losing a spelling bee. It was 1995 – enough said!
Umlaut happens to be in the name güd. It’s a new, extrasensory line from the people behind Burt’s Bees with very lovely skin care products that are 97% natural, paraben- and petro-chemical free and beautifully scented.
When it comes to hand care, I am very neglectful of keeping up with daily maintenance, such as applying hand cream of a regular basis throughout the day. That means that a hand cream has to be really worthwhile to catch my attention.
güd Natural Hand Cream in Orange Petalooza smells like a citrus dream! While I found the lotion to feel slightly greasy at first, the lotion quickly set in with no slippery after feel. This lotion contains sunflower seed oil, shea butter, and licorice root extract.
