It’s been a couple of months since I declared liquid eyeliner freedom, well, kind of. I’ll never say never to anything related to makeup, but after feeling frustrated over wrinkly eye lids and related liquid liner woes, I gave myself permission to step back from winged liner looks for a while. I’ve been using mainly powder eyeshadows and gel eyeliner pencils to finish my eye makeup looks, so I was really excited for the opportunity to try the brand new Esqido Gel Eyeliners in brown and black.
Esqido makes gorgeous luxury mink lashes that I’ve used and loved through the years. They also make an incredible eyelash glue that’s totally worth checking out. I mean, truly. I use the Esqido Companion Lash Glue for all of my falsies. If you do feel intimidated by false eyelashes, never fear! I have an easy beauty breakdown for you right here!
Knowing the high quality of Esqido’s lashes, I was eager to try these two brand new gel liners. And I wasn’t disappointed at all!
A nice feature about these pencils is that they’re auto sharpening – you just twist the back of the pencil – very convenient! Also, there’s a precision sharpener in that back cap that allows you to keep the liner at a sharp point.
The texture of the pencils is very smooth and they stay in place! And then some! The texture is very creamy and it’s easy to apply and smudge the liner as desired.
I decided to put Esqido Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Brown to the test by wearing it to the gym. I don’t usually wear makeup to the gym, but this was a worthwhile opportunity.
And here’s the liner still going strong after a sweaty workout – impressive!!!!
My Final Thoughts: Esqido Gel Eyeliners are a winner in my book – the textures are super smooth and they stay put!!! I’ll definitely repurchase in the future.
Price: $12 limited time launch special, the normal price is $16 per pencil.
