Finally, It Has Happened To Me: Urban Decay’s Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette Is Mine, All Mine

Press Sample I Bought It

By Sheila Arkee

It was a gleeful day at Painted Ladies headquarters when I was finally able to make Urban Decay’s Naked 2 palette mine, all mine. While I’ve lusted after it (and the original Naked palette) for a while, there was always another more colorful product that got my interest and funds instead.Who me? Taupe and greige? Yes, me!

Now that I have Naked 2 I feel like I’m finally part of some exclusive club and now I get what the fuss is all about. Sometimes a makeup obsessed gal wants a little shimmery neutral action in her life! I decided to go for Naked 2 over the original Naked because the shades included seemed different enough from anything I already own.

Incorporating both matte and shimmery shades with a couple of chunky glitters thrown in for good measure, the Naked 2 palette contains 12 neutral shadows that can be combined with each other and other shadow you might have in your collection. The palette comes with a palette exclusive Good Karma Shadow/Crease double-ended brush and mini-sized Lip Junkie lip gloss in Naked.

My Final Thoughts: Like all good things, Urban Decay’s Naked 2 was worth the wait and I’ll be reaching for this neutral palette frequently.

Rating: A

a beautiful look on you. I don’t own either of the Naked palettes….yet. I’m on a matte shadow kick so when my ship comes back in and Ulta has a sale or coupon, I want the original Naked palette

welcome to the Naked Club. I hope you enjoy it- I have this palette, as well and I love- well worth the investment. I usually pair these shades with other non UD mattes or cream shadow bases. It is versatile enough to use to play with the other shadows, which is part of the fun. Looking forward to seeing more Naked2 EOTDs that you dream up. Have fun!

I LOVE my Naked 2. I wish they glued the shadows in better. I dropped it once and ALL of the colors came loose. I even lost one (the black! Arg!) but I’ll continue to use it until it’s all gone.

I have both Nakeds and I look forward to seeing what you come up with for the Naked2.

Welcome to the Naked 2 Club!! Can’t wait to see the different looks that you put together with this beautiful palette. I actually had the original Naked palette a couple of years ago, but I returned it because it had WAY too much glitter fallout for me. I love this one, though. :)

I’ve held off on getting the Naked palettes because I have theBalm’s Nude ‘Tude, which I LOVE, and works for me. It was also a lot cheaper, and at least I think it’s got colors that work better for my skin tone. Now I guess I’m the only beauty blogger without a Naked palette 😛

Now I have to check out that palette, Miranda!
