Feeling A Case of Deja Vu With Urban Decay’s Dangerous Palette

I Bought It

By Sheila Arkee

When it comes to eyeshadow, I have a particular weakness … that is, I can barely resist it! Eye makeup is my ultimate, favorite indugence and there are certain shades I cannot turn down. The Dangerous palette is a companion to Urban Decay’s Feminine palette, which I recently fell in love with in a serious way.

The texture of Urban Decay’s shadows is, for lack of a better phrase, freaking ridiculous! I can’t recall ever using an eyeshadow with such intense color payoff, and that’s the truth.

With a soft and buttery texture, there is so much pigmentation going on with these shadows that have a special Pigment Infusion System. Sounds super fancy, and whatever it is, these shadows are nothing less than intense.

The colors include:

- Gravity (deep violet shimmer with multi-colored micro-glitter)

- Loaded (deep metallic emerald shimmer)

- Evidence (deep navy blue shimmer)

- Deeper (metallic dark brown with bronze pearl)

- Mushroom (warm pale grey shimmer)

- Ace (deep gray/blue shimmer)

You also get a small size of the Naked Lip Junkie gloss, which is perfectly lovely.

While the shadows are lovely, I do have a big problem with this palette – I have most of the shadows already! It’s a mini-repeat of the Smoked palette, and entirely redundant.

Urban Decay’s Smoked Palette

If you’re looking for a smaller version of the Smoked palette and some pretty, smoky colors, this might do the trick, however its a case of buyer beware if you already own Urban Decay’s Smoked palette.

You can find Urban Decay’s Dangerous Palette at Sephora, where it retails for $36.
