So, it’s March 1st and I’m honestly not sure how we got here. March! Today’s the day we take a look back at the products I loved from the month before, so let’s get started on my list of February 2019 Makeup And Beauty Favorites.
But first! The opportunity to give me a Sephora Squad testimonial is almost over – click here to access the form. Thank you in advance for giving me a shout out. I would love to represent 40 and over beauty lovers!
Persona Cosmetics Color Theory Eye Kit Copper – I’m in a copper eyeshadow kinda mood these days. I was doing some late night browsing on the Ulta app and came upon this kit which includes an eyeshadow palette, domed blending brush and gel eye pencil. It rocks! I’ve heard so many great things about Persona shadows and they are, indeed, great.
Paula’s Choice CLINICAL Ceramide-Enriched Firming Eye Cream – These days I’m really focusing on my skincare situation and looking for products that will help my skin look healthy. I’m really impressed with the results I got from using this eye cream.
Kaja Cheeky Stamp Blendable Blush – Okay, so the product itself doesn’t last very long on my cheeks, but I’m including it because it’s delightful. The packaging is delightful and the act of stamping my cheeks with this blush is utterly delightful.
Hold Me Bag – I did a throwback “then and now” post with this beauty bag and it indeed has held up beautifully through the years.
Physicians Formula Butter Blush – Another “then and now” review and a major shout out to the blush, which is actually one of the most gorgeous highlighters I’ve ever used. My goodness, it looks so creamy on my skin (even though its a powder) and lasts all day!
Nars Skin Deep Eyeshadow Palette – All hail this utterly fabulous neutral eyeshadow palette, which is truly exceptional. The mattes are not chalky, rather smooth and easy to work with. It’s definitely worth checking out and so lovely to my copper eyeshadow loving aesthetic these days.
Now, two (actually four) products I have to admit I’m NOT entirely thrilled with: the Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette and the Wet n Wild Rebel Rose Color Icon Eyeshadow Quads. They’re beautifully packaged and all, but the performance is just … lacking.
