I have said it before and I’ll say it again – I love, love, love, love, LOVE (that’s 5 loves) innovation in the beauty industry. There’s a new website in town that makes your foundation finding life just that much easier. Isn’t it such a pain to choose a new foundation? Even if you’re more experienced in makeup than the average Jane, I think there’s always a bit of panic going in to try to find a base that will blend in with your skin tone.
Enter Findation.com, a super easy way to figure out what foundations would work for you based on your current foundations. Simply enter two or more of your shades, press a button and presto chango – a customized list of various brands.
Findation needs your input to help build the site! According to founder Kate Morris:
“Findation.com is a global project (currently in beta), creating the world’s largest usable database of matching foundation shades. Findation.com uses an algorithm to recommend similar shades, based on the matches entered by other foundation users. That means we need lots of people to tell us what foundations they use to give the best shade recommendations possible.”
