Expert: Meet Marisa

Hello, Painted Ladies! I’m so glad and excited to be a part of this site, and I’m looking forward to sharing my makeup knowledge with you!

First things first: my name is Marisa McCabe and I’m a professional makeup artist based out of Los Angeles, California. Makeup has been in my blood for a very long time, since childhood in fact, when I was a third grader who went around wearing liquid eyeliner!

My approach to makeup is simple – it’s to make women feel like the best and most beautiful versions of themselves, a process I find immensly gratifing. I specialize in non-traditional features, and am always ready to show all types of women how to feel their very  best.

One of my favorite makeup tools is liquid eyeliner – it’s amazing what a little liner will do to transform a face, and I love showing women how to acheive a perfectly lined eye. As far as my favorite makeup trick, I absolutely adore shimmer as it gives an amazing texture to faces and there are so many wonderful shimmery products for different skin types.
