I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to glow and shimmery my way into 2018 with the help of elf Cosmetics Prismatic Highlighting Duos and elf Cosmetics Stardust Glitter Eyeliners. Oh, so much glow! And shimmer!
elf Cosmetics, one of my all time favorite bargain beauty brands, is certainly on a roll these days with some stellar new products that are high quality and easy on your beauty budget. I loved the silicone blending sponges I reviewed here recently, along with some picks from the new elf ACTIVE line. The dual-sided highlighters and shimmery eye liners I’m showing here meet my seal of approval, as well.
There are three shades of the elf Cosmetics Prismatic Highlighting Duos ($8). These powders are really, really pretty and I’m really impressed with the lit-from-within glow they lend to my skin. You can use them on your face for strobing, as eyeshadows, and also pressed into your lips for added gleam, as I did in the photo at the very bottom on this post.
Siren’s Call includes a gold and light orange.
Mermaid Tail includes a shimmering pink and purple.
Blue Lagoon has a light lavender and green and looks better on my skin than I’d anticipated! This duo looks lovely worn as eyeshadow, as well.
There are 4 choices when it comes to elf Cosmetics Stardust Glitter Eyeliners ($4) from left to right in Shimmering Gold, Sparkling Silver, Sea Foam and Pink Opal. They apply the best straight from the bottle with the fine point liner wand. I also picked up a bit from the wand with the pad of my ring finger to blend the shimmers on my eyelids.
These gel glitter liners are subtle and very pretty. You can wear them in so many different ways – as a liner alone, on top of a darker liner, or blended on top of your eyeshadow for extra glow.
To create this look I used the lovely elf products along with the Morphe The Jaclyn Hill Palette. I used Shimmering Gold on my lower liner and Pink Opal on the inner tear duct.
I used the powders as my highlighter. ou can really see the Mermaid Tail holo glow in this photo!
My Final Thoughts: elf Cosmetics Highlighting Duos and elf Cosmetics Stardust Glitter Eyeliners are gorgeous and two hits from elf Cosmetics that are definitely worth checking out.
