e.l.f.’s Essentials Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder – Hit or Miss?

Always on the hunt for another bronzer, I was excited to try e.l.f.’s Essentials Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Warm Tan. I’ve been impressed with the majority of the e.l.f. products I’ve tried so far, so will this bronzer live up to the same reputation?

Housed in a sleek, clear case, this bronzer wins points for clean packaging. The product itself, however, failed to impress me. It looks like it would be a great color, but when applied it looks more like a highlighting powder, at best. I prefer my bronzers to have a little more color and a little less glimmer.

For only $1 and because it can be used as a highlighter, this bronzer isn’t a complete miss, but definitely not a hit. My favorite drugstore bronzer so far? Wet n Wild’s is a definite hit! The color isn’t muddy, not too sparkly, and looks fantastic on.
