e.l.f. Gel Liner – Not A Bad Way To Spend $3!

By Sheila Arkee

It took me a while to get to this place, but I just realized that the e.l.f. products I love so much cost less than a fancy cuppa coffee at Starbizzucks. Insane!

Three whopping bucks will buy you either an amazing product from e.l.f.’s Studio line, 3 items from their regular dollar collection, but it won’t come close to helping you purchase a tall mocha. If you do have a spare $3 and are looking for an affordable gel liner, this particular one from e.l.f. might be what you’re looking for.

The distinction of best gel liner I’ve ever tried goes to Stila’s Smudge Pots, which I’ve found to be smooth and highly pigmented. In comparison, the e.l.f. liner feels a little more slippery and I felt that I had to go over certain areas on the lid to make sure they were fully covered. The brush that comes with must be tossed. Don’t ask why I have a decapitated head in my hand along with the gel liner.

However, I will say that the e.l.f. liners are definitely well-pigmented, long-lasting, and considering they’re less than a mocha, I have to give them my seal of approval. I’ll keep using this black gel liner and will even throw it into my freelance makeup kit.

You can find e.l.f.’s gel liners here.
