Dove Intensive Repair Daily Treatment Conditioner Soothes Stressed Strands

By Sheila Arkee

When it comes down to the care and maintenance of my tender curls, I have one confession to make. I need a rotation. In over three decades of dealing with my hair, I’ve found that it looks its best when I alternate products, and so I have a few products that I rely on for various needs.

One of the current mainstays in my hair care is Dove’s Intensive Repair Daily Treatment Conditioner, which is designed for dry, damaged hair.

That would be the status of my hair, which I’m in the middle of rehabilitating. Sometimes my hair has too much moisture, sometimes it’s just right, but right now it’s recuperating from this past epic Summer. Seriously, my hair is in need of tender loving care – people ask if I’ve had a hair cut, but it actually started breaking off at the split ends because it was so dry. Embarrassing, but true!

Although I have plenty of hair, it’s fine and prone to dryness, which is a sure sign that your hair has experienced damage. At the moment my hair it is extremely damaged and in need of nourishment, which is exactly what Dove’s Intensive Repair Daily Conditioner is designed to accomplish. Besides getting an actual hair cut that will help get rid of the extreme damage, Dove’s conditioner is part of my damage attack plan to get things back in shape.

This conditioner is ok to use on a daily basis, and contains Fiber Active technology that helps your hair regain strength while repairing damage with a Patented Micromoisture Serum that repairs the surface of the hair by sealing lifted cuticles.

Besides all of the technical details, I can tell you that this conditioner from Dove feels amazing while being used and when your hair. The conditioner is creamy, lathers in the hair nicely, and rinses out without any residue remaining, leaving my hair feeling soft and smooth to the touch.

The results? Fabulosity.

As a brand, Dove has proven that their products are incredibly effective with prices that are extremely budget friendly. I am a big fan of their skin care offerings, and the same goes for their hair care products – definitely worth trying out!

Dove has kindly offered a coupon for $1.50 to make it that much easier to try their hair care products. And, to make things even better, you have a chance to win a $1000 gift certificate to Spafinder. Fab!

Great review, Sheila!! I have naturally curly hair as well– and this looks like it will do my hair justice! Thanks!

My hair requires variety too. I rotate cleansing conditioners, clarifying shampoos, dandruff shampoos, regular conditioners, and deep conditioners. It’s interesting how some people can use the same shampoo and conditioner for years and never deviate where other people have to switch it up.

Thanks, ladies! Wendy, I think that’s interesting, too – I have never been able to get away with that!
