DHC Pore Cleansing Oil and Pore Face Wash Will Give Your Pores A Makeover

By Sheila Arkee

Using oil cleansers to wash your face is something that seems entirely counterintuitive, especially to those of us who have to battle with a little something known as non-dry skin. However, the oil cleansing method has proved to be effective, gentle, and non-irritating. DHC’s Pore Cleansing Oil and Pore Face Wash are two new additions to their skin care offerings. These two wonderful cleansers help make your pores look smaller by thoroughly cleaning out your skin.

In comparison to DHC’s Deep Cleansing Oil, Pore Cleansing Oil has a much thicker consistency that is velvety smooth with a grapefruit fragrnce. It’s a blend of nine essential and antioxidant oils that include coconut, argan, evening primrose, olive, grapfruit, jojoba, avocado, sesame and rice bran oils.

My favorite thing about DHC’s original Deep Cleansing Oil and the new Pore Cleansing Oil ($31) is that they are completely non-irritating and they are effective in removing my makeup. Simply apply to your face, let set for a few seconds, and rinse away with warm water. Follow up with the Pore Face Wash and you are guaranteed clean, de-gunked skin.

Pore Face Wash ($25) is a foaming cleanser that adds exfoliation with baking soda and pear juice alpha hydroxy acids. It supremely smooths your skin and does not feel the least bit irritating, which is a really wonderful thing if you’ve ever experienced the sting of too harsh scrubs.

When I was a junior makeup junkie, I remember obsessing, obsesssing! over the status of my pores.  There was not a pore on my face I wasn’t intimately acquainted with, and I wished they would all take a hike.  There is no real way of shrinking your pores, but you can certainly improve their appearance with products like DHC’s Pore Cleansing Oil and Face Wash. These two products have been by my side while I’m taking makeup photos, and I have to say they really do make my skin look and feel extra smooth.

You can find DHC products online.

Loved this post, that picture of you made me smile. I’ve been curious about cleansing oils for a while. Specially for removing tough gunk like mascara and eye liners. It’s been hard to break my oil fear. I just remember slathering my face with baby oil back in the day to go lay in the sun and oh mercy the breakouts. I am intrigued.
