It’s come that time here in makeup-ville for a changing of the guards with my rotation of mascaras. Every few months I trade out the three or so regulars I’ve been using for new batch of the latest and greatest. I’ve tried several and so far Make Up For Ever’s Smokey Lash and L’Oreal’s Voluminous False Fiber Lashes are the only two to have made the cut.
Next on my list of must-try mascaras is CoverGirl’s LashBlast Fusion, which promised volume and length in one. Traditionally I have loved CoverGirl’s mascaras, and this latest is no exception.
One thing I’ve found with the plastic wand masaras is that I need an incubation period before I really start to like the product.
This was no different, and after about a week I was in love with this formula which separates, thickens, lengthens, and holds a heckuva mean curl. It passes my stringent standards with flying colors. Go forth and purchase!

Will definitely give it a try on your recommendation because your Lashblast rec worked well and I’m a mascara ho. Sadly, L’Oreal Voluminous is on my hit list as several of my eyelashes broke from it! Bunch of stubbies that I have to wait to grow out now *sigh*
You know what, I’ve heard other people not loving the L’Oreal. That sucks!!!! Use castor oil on your lashes!
wow seems interesting!!
I’m going to check out your Smokey Lash review/post because I’ve heard so much about that one, I really want to get it haha. (I love the name, too) Yay for mascaras!
Castor oil? Interesting, just paint it along my lash line with an angle brush or rub it all over my lashes? I’ve had a few drugstore mascaras make my lashes brittle enough to break off…and I have to wait for the regrowth while I have this weird spiky look to my lashes…grrrr
Dip a q tip in the container and run it along your lashes at night. It works for both brows and lashes. I promise!
About 10 years ago I was so stressed out about something that I totally lost the lower lashes in one of my eyes. Horror! I can totally relate to your woes!
