Okay, ladies & gents, it’s time to dish at our weekly open post. Pour the coffee, pull out the red velvet cupcakes, we’ll be here for awhile.
Let’s talk about unexpected beauty finds – products that may be incognitio in unassuming packaging, the ones you’d suspect of being fantastic. For me that would be VO5′s Moisture Milk conditioner in Strawberries and Cream.
My cute and adorable almost 5-year old son has a new game he likes to play called “Let’s Pour All Mommy’s Beauty Products Down The Drain.” This game is the hottest rage in town right now and most recently included an expensive conditioner. Oh, yes. Oh, yes.
My hair is on a no-poo diet and since I needed to wash my hair I grabbed whatever was available and ended up falling in love. This silicone-free, extremely budget friendly conditioner works wonders on my crazy curly hair. I’m shocked it’s so great and don’t feel so bad about the expensive conditioner that was set free by my cute and adorable child.
What are your recent unexpected finds?

I fell in love with Suave Naturals Coconut Shampoo and Conditioner recently. Huge bottles, extremely budget friendly (less than $5.00 for both), and kind to my irish curls. And for make-up, elf’s line at Target and Joanna’s at Walgreens. Budget score!!
I had the haircare ‘ah ha’ moment with Pantene. I thought I had to use Redken and Paul Mitchell to be doing the best for my hair.
