Okay, ladies & gents, it’s time to dish at our weekly open post. Pour the coffee, pull out the cheesecake, we’ll be here for awhile.
After reviewing all of the mascaras I’ve used in the past couple of years (here and here), I’m on the hunt for the next great mascara in my arsenal. Right now I’m testing CoverGirl’s Lash Blast Luxe, which is so far, so good, but not quite as great as either Make Up For Ever’s Smoky Lash or Milani’s Runway Lashes.
What are your current mascara favorites?
Opulash is my favorite everyday mascara. My current tube is drying out, which makes me sad b/c I’m not ready to spend $15 on another mascara.
Illegal Length and L’Oreal Voluminous false lashes are my faves for more extreme lashes. They both do a great job lengthening.
I’m currently swapping between my Revlon 3D (one of my go-tos) & a mini-size Wet n Wild MegaLength (trying to use it up). Need to get a new mascara (one I haven’t tried yet) but just don’t wanna spend the time or the money on it right now. =/
I’m a big fan of Tarte’s mascaras – Lights! Camera! Lashes! and Gifted.
I’ve been using Dr. Hauschka mascara since I went “all natural” and I have to say, it’s a pretty nice mascara. It doesn’t lengthen, but it darkens your lashes. I wouldn’t recommend it for those with tin lashes because it probably won’t do much.
I’m testing the new Maybelline Volum’ Express Mega Plush Mascara right now. Love it so far.
I’m wish Thu. Lights, Camera, Lashes is amazing.

Voluminous, I don’t know why I stray.
Lash Blast is my current go-to, but I’m nearing the end of the tube and I think it’s time to test out the Milani options.
ShowOff by Beauty Addicts is getting a lot of love from me right now. But my all time favorite is DiorShow Extase.
