Okay, ladies & gents, it’s time to dish. Pour the coffee, pull out the marscapone cheesecake, we’ll be here for awhile.
Although I refuse to call it a New Year’s Resolution, I’ve been spending a lot more time in the gym these days than I ever did this time in 2011.
You wouldn’t think so now, but about six years ago I was a hard core gym rat. I would spend two hours PLUS in the gym six days a week and loved every second of it. And then I had my son. And then I became a single mom. And then it all went down the drain!
I gave myself until my son is in Kindergarten to lose the baby weight. You know how that goes. How did it get to be that he starts Kindergarten in six months I will never know. Truth be told, I do love going to the gym and feel better every time I work out.
In the spirit of good heath, let’s share our workout play lists. Mine are a pure reflection of my inner dork!
The Bird and the Bee – I Can’t Go For That
Earth, Wind, and Fire – September
Nu Shooz – Can’t Wait (yeah, can’t wait to lose the spare tire!)

Haha! This is awesome! Here is some of my fave workout songs!
Madonna-Revolver (Amazing for the treadmill!)
RuPaul-Looking Good and Felling Gorgeous (I’m a dork to!)
Britney Spears-3, Prerogative, Circus, Break the Ice, Piece of Me, Womanizer, Radar, Beautiful. I love Britney!
And a looot of Christina Aguilera

Weezer has some surprisingly good running songs. Jog.fm is a great resource for workout music!
Most songs by the Veronica’s make great workout songs. Also- Ghost Town by shiny toy guns – all of those songs are very fast rock out girl power songs!
Thanks for the awesome suggestions!
