Hello, ColourPop, it’s so nice to see you again to and to meet one of your newest products, ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip.
I recently picked up three shades of the ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip liquid lipsticks ($6) and have fallen in love: Echo Park, Botanical, and Tansy.
For no real reason, it’s been a minute or so since I’ve placed a ColourPop order. Lots had changed with ColourPop since I last purchased some products, including the introduction of their new Matte X Lippie Stix, these Ultra Satin Lip colors, and new brow products (more on that soon).
There are 23 shades of ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip, which dry to a satin texture as opposed to the matte textures of their Ultra Matte Lip counterparts. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip, but I was overall really impressed with the fact that they feel very light on my lips, do not dry out my lips, and wear extremely well. It takes some seriously oily food to get them to budge!
Let’s take a closer look!
Echo Park is a muted pink brown.
To see the difference between Ultra Satin Lip and Ultra Matte Lip, here’s a somewhat similar matte color from ColourPop, Trap.
Botanical is a light coral.
Tansy is the perfect 90’s throwback brown and I’m somehow extremely into this color.
ColourPop also has new Brow Gels and Brow Pencils and because I am a huge fan of thin brow pencils, I ordered ColourPop Brow Pencil in Dope Taupe.
At $5, this is a great deal for an excellent product. I love the neutral color, which blends perfectly with my brows.
Also, it lasts all day, making it a big winner in my book.
My Final Thoughts: While I’m a fan of ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip, I find myself drawn to the smoother texture of the ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip. Both the ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip colors and Brow Pencil in Dope Taupe are winners in my book!
