When ColourPop recently debuted their new line of cream blush sticks and highlighters I seriously had to get my hands on ’em ASAP!
Priced at $8 each, the new ColourPop Blush Stix are available in bundles of 3 for a discounted price of $22. I chose the Moonlight And Magnolias set which includes two blush sticks and one highlighter.
Now, I use a cream blush every day (shout out to Stila Convertible Cream Blush!) and love the convenience factor of it all. Stila is one of the best I’ve ever used, the second best being the cream blush in the Natasha Denona Bloom Blush and Glow palette I recently acquired.
With oily skin I’ve found not all cream blushes are as enduring as the options from Stila and Natasha Denona. In fact, many disappear in a snap! Unfortunately that’s the case with the ColourPop Blush Stix as well! Too bad, so sad but the good news is the highlighter is fantastic and wears long and strong all the live long day.
The colors in the Moonlight And Magnolia set are 25/8 (light peach), Hooked (darker peach) and Star Bright (highlighter). Star Bright has bigger chunks of glitter which was kind of a surprise to me!
My Final Thoughts: While the ColourPop Blush Stix didn’t quite work out for my normal to oily skin, I’ll use them as a base for powder blush!
