Brush Focus: Small Fluff Eyeshadow Brush

I cannot believe I have neglected to mention one of the most important brushes in my eyeshadow application over the course of the Brush Focus series. A small fluff brush is vital to my daily makeup routine, and I think it helps give my eye makeup a polished finish.

What I love most about this brush is that it is extremely versatile. Soft enough to blend a highlight color on the browbone, I also use this particular brush to apply a dab of the same shade on my tear duct, and to help blend and meld the entire look. I don’t find that it picks up a lot of color, and for that purpose I prefer a small, flat brush. If you have smaller eyes, you might find that this works wonderfully to apply color to your lids.
