Breaking Down Beauty: Heated Lash Curler, Part 2

By Sheila

Heated lash curlers are a handy little doo dad that you can use to help acheive perfectly curled lashes. It may seem intimidating, but it’s not as hard as you think. Remember, it’s all in the wrist!

Cast of Characters:

Sephora Heated Lash Curler

Step One: Turn on the curler and let it warm up for about a minute or two. Inside that little comb attachment is a heating element that warms with battery power. Don’t worry, it won’t burn you at all!

Step Two: To curl your lashes, you’ll have to approach your lashline in sections. Start with the end and work your way in. Place the lash curler at the base of your lashes and ever so slowly work your way upwards.

Step Three: Keep moving the curler up your lashes; as you’re moving on up, twirl the curler upwards and give it a count to three before moving on to the next step.

Step Four: Curl, hold, repeat. Make sure all parts of the lash have been done.

Step Five: Done! Use some mascara and you’re all set!

Have you used a heated lash curler before?

Do you find that the curl lasts longer using this AWESOME tool compared to a traditional lash curler? I’ve always wanted to try one of these. THanks for the review! :)

I love my heated lash curler, it’s the only thing that will make my lashes STAY curled! Seriously, if I just use a regular one my lashes go stick straight again in less than 5 minutes.

Unfortunately I always forget to replace the battery in my heated lash curler though, so it hasnt had much love for a couple of months >_>

Best I have ever tried that is not included here is the Hot Lashes one~ To me it is the safest and really holds the curl! It comes with a 24K gold plated curler and this pink heater base it comes with only heats the black pad in the curler. Best I have found! They are on Hotlashes.com I got the kit with the Adaptor and love that one as I donot need to get batteries. Love how my lashes look, love~!
    Thought this may help!
