Contouring and highlighting the face is one of my favorite makeup tricks. Being able to change the shape of your face with a little powder, cream, and blending is truly amazing! Transforming your look with makeup doesn’t mean pulling out the whole shebang, however. Here’s are 3 easy steps to give yourself a subtle eye lift that takes all of 5 seconds and just involves a teensy bit of concealer, which gives the illusion of a lifted brow.
Step 1: After applying your foundation, apply your concealer as usual, and also dot a bit right above your browbone. For demonstration purposes, I’ve applied one eye with and one eye without concealer on the browbone.
Step 2: Blend the concealer in with your tool of choice. I can’t speak highly enough about Sephora’s #57 Pro Airbrush Concealer Brush, which is pretty much perfect as far as I’m concerned.
Step 3: Add powder to set and proceed with your makeup application. As you’ll notice, there’s a very subtle brightening and lifting effect to the eye that’s had concealer applied above the upper browbone.
Easy, right? That’s how we are around here at Painted Ladies. Enjoy!
