I have to confess, y’all – last month I was seriously considering stopping my years-long subscription to Boxycharm completely. Kaputz! And then the Make Waves Boxycharm for May 2019 and managed to totally pull me back in.
Let’s take a look at the awesome products that were included in my Boxycharm. There are a few varieties of the box and every subscriber receives a different option each month. I’ll admit to wish I’d received the Milk makeup primer that’s in some of the boxes, but I’m not complaining with my loot!
Glamglow Gentlebubble Cleanser ($28) – Ooh! What a cool product to receive! I have been looking for a new cleanser and will enjoy trying out this generously sized vegan formula.
Alamar Colorette Blush Trio ($22) – Oooh! I love a good blush and this is such a pretty and cheerful palette.
Ciate London Eye Lustre Creme Eyeshadow in Cupid ($22) – Gasp. I actually gasped over this duochrome which dries down and doesn’t budge. What a gorgeous color I’ll get a lot of use out of.
Dose Of Colors Liquid Matte Lipstick in Coral Crush ($19) – Of all the matte liquid lipsticks in this world, this is one I have not tried yet! I’m so excited to check out this vibrant shade.
Mellow Brow Definer in Taupe ($18) – I always have room for a new taupe brow pencil, and love that this one has a spoolie on one end.
There’s no doubt the monthly Boxycharm subscription beauty services is an excellent value. You receive well over the $21 monthly fee with five full sized beauty products each month. This month’s box was valued at $108 You can purchase blocks of boxes in advance to save a little bit of money.
With all said and done, Boxycharm is a great way to build a makeup collection and also to check out brands and products that are new to you. I do find it useful, and have to admit it’s a thrill to see what’s in the box each month. I’m still on the fence about indulging in the quarterly Boxy Luxe, which is $35 and has additional products. So, Boxycharm, you’ll live to see another month in my mailbox!
