After a history of sporting bad brows, I’ve been in a place of brow acceptance for a good while now. Thankfully, mine are at a stage when I don’t require much maintenance – a trim and a tweeze now and then shapes them up perfectly. My main brow goal is to fill them in – after years of abuse there are a couple of spots that never grew back !
Having tried quite a few brow products through the years, there are a few that stand out as keepers. Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil is one of those, and it’s quickly become an all-time favorite.
With humble beginnings, the owners of Billion Dollar Brows built their business on their dedication to bringing beautiful brows to as many people as possible. That is a great mission, and I have to say I’m incredibly impressed with the quality of their Universal Brow Pencil.
The color is a perfect taupe with no red undertones, which makes it truly perfect for most hair colors. From blonde to brunette, it will blend in and not look out of place. The texture of this pencil is what sets it apart from other brow pencils on the market. This one has a waxy feel, and at the same time it’s highly pigmented and doesn’t drag on your brow hairs. Most other brow pencils on the market tend to be similar to typical eyeliners, but firmer. And the spoolie on the one end of the pencil is essential for making sure your brow color is well blended.
I’ve been using the Universal Brow Pencil for a few weeks now, and it’s earned a permanent space in my makeup kit. Here’s the brow in action in comparison to my other standard brow product. It lightens my brows, but doesn’t make them look out of place.
