When the Pantone 2016 colors Serenity and Rose Quartz were announced, I took it as a breath of fresh air. These two colors are just perfect for ringing in the new year. Youngblood Cosmetics has some beautiful color choices to incorporate both of these lovely colors.
The Pantone company is the world’s color authority. Every year they release an official color that guides the fashion and beauty industries. Serenity is a pastel blue, and Rose Quartz is a pastel pink. Youngblood is a long time favorite beauty company and they have some lovely cruelty-free products in tones of Serenity and Rose Quartz. Before I show you the colors up close, an ode to the lovely Youngblood packaging. It’s sleek and gorgeous and extremely well constructed.
Now on to the colors! You’re in for a treat, because they are all gorgeous. The eyeshadows in the Youngblood Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad in Glamour Eyes ($43) are highly pigmented and smooth.
These colors are a perfect tribute to Serenity. Check out all of this color payoff -incredible!
I love the inclusion of taupe colors to make this a highly wearable palette.
Rose Quartz never looked so good with the Youngblood Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad in Vintage.
These pink tones are right up my alley.
I’m all about a green eyeliner these days, which is perfect to set off these rose quartz colors.
Youngblood Cosmetics Crushed Mineral Blush in Tulip ($22) is a perfect shimmery pink highlighter.
It’s not overly shimmery and gives a lovely, long-wearing glow.
These colors are so pretty worn alone or together. The texture of the lip gel is lightweight and not overly annoying.
My Final Thoughts: I am truly and sincerely loving the Pantone 2016 color choices – Serenity and Rose Quartz. Youngblood has some lovely makeup color choices to help you incorporate both of the lovely pastels into your existing makeup collection. I’m a fan of Youngblood and really enjoy their high quality, mineral cosmetics.
