Although we are well into the month of July and approaching August in no time flat (yikes!), I figured it’s never too late to give you the scoop on my beauty favorites from June 2014.
And I also made a new YouTube video!
The bold lipstick of my dreams! I’m definitely glad I indulged in this new lipstick which gets nothing but rave reviews. It’s bright, long-wearing, and shiny. I can’t ask for more!
This little stick helps prevent skin from chafing in a big way. It’s a must! It’s also cruelty-free and paraben-free.
Earlier this week I flat ironed my hair for a few upcoming posts and my rarely heat-treated hair took a beating. I applied this mask, let it sit under the provided shower cap for about an hour, and now my curls are quenched and very happy.
These bright, pigmented, long-wearing shadows = true love. Oh, my! I’ve been reaching for this palette quite a bit lately. Some have mentioned it’s a lower priced dupe for the Urban Decay Electric palette, to which I agree!
The best $10 I spent in June, and I will definitely order July’s. In fact, I might just subscribe! I was more excited with this bag than with Ipsy this month. I got nail art supplies, a great cuticle balm, soap, and three darling polishes.
This kit is mind blowing. Mind. Blowing. It was developed by a Hollywood makeup artist and makes covering recessed scars extremely easy. It looks overwhelming, but it’s super easy to use.

While you are guaranteed to get a couple of duds in larger palettes, I was overall really pleased by the high quality and pigmentation in this adorably packaged palette. It’s under $15 and a steal!
My nails were taking a beating due to excessive polish use and these two nail strengtheners came to the rescue. I’m using the treatment with garlic and lime as a base coat on all of my polishes.
What a gorgeous color for both the gloss and pencil. The texture of the gloss is simply divine and the pencil has become a personal staple.
The pain of glitter and gel nail removal is eliminated with this handy kit that is worth every single penny!
