When it comes to the care and maintenance of my hair as the night hours roll along, I have one major decision to make: Do I wash my hair, or do I get some sleep? Sleep usually wins out, which is where Batiste Dry Shampoo comes to the rescue.
With my naturally curly hair, I have the luxury of being able to stretch out washes to 3 days with my curls doing pretty well considering how much time has gone by without them being combed through or brushed. Four day stretches are pushing it and by that time I find my curls start to “dred” up a bit, making it a pain to comb them out before washing my hair. So, a three day stretch it is, however, by that third day my roots are looking awfully shiny as compared to the rest of my hair. That’s why I adore using a dry shampoo.
Dry shampoos are incredibly easy to use and they work for all hair types. It’s incredibly simple to use a dry shampoo – just spray and shake! Voila! Refreshed roots that make your life easier and help you catch up on some sleep. The instructions tell you to brush the shampoo out, but taking a brush to my curls at this stage in the hair care game would not be a cute thing.
I put together a quick video showing you just how easy it is to use Batiste Dry Shampoo. The one I used is the Tropical scent, which has a nice coconut fragrance. The hair oil I mention is by Garnier and it really is great! The wide tooth comb I use is one I got from a beauty supply store many moons ago.
My Final Thoughts: Batiste Dry Shampoo is available in a variety of scents and helps to extend the life of your hairstyles. If you’re in need of a dry shampoo, try Batiste – they’re the best!
