Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quads Are A Surprisingly Pigmented Cheap Treat

By Sheila Arkee

Let’s talk about beauty products that have surprised me lately, namely these True Color Eyeshadow Quads by Avon. Filled with richly pigmented shades, the True Color Quads have jumped their way into my regular shadow rotation, starting with jewel-toned Femme Fatale. The blue/green in this palette is phenomenal and made this shadow junkie gasp upon first sight. I love that these palettes include a browbone shade, which is sometimes overlooked by beauty companies.

It makes for a heckuva gorgeous eye.

A mocha latte is not just one of my favorite coffee drinks, it’s the name of this beautiful brown palette.

The shimmery tan is my favorite color of this neutral quad, which is a great one to have around for blending with other shadows.

There’s something special about this sleek packaging, giving the black laquered case the feel of a more expensive brand.

There is a tad bit of fallout with these shadows upon application, but otherwise they wear very well, the pigment remaining strong on my eyes until I’m ready to remove my makeup.

You can find the Mocha Latte and Femme Fatale palettes for $5.99 at Avon.com marked down from $9 – steal alert!

is there a blush in the top of that first quad or did you cover the mirror? If it’s a blush it looks gorgeous.

Just a reflection – but that would be a great blush!!!
