When you come across a new product that claims to waterproof, refresh and protect your mascara without any clumping, your first reaction will most likely be, “yeah, right”. Or at least mine was. Anastasia Lash Genius is a clear top coat for mascara that instantly tranforms it into a smudge and waterproof work of art.
Although Lash Genius won’t exactly glide through your lashes, I was pleasantly surpised by the relative ease by which it applied. It dries quickly and doesn’t make your lashes look or feel crunchy.
I’d been walking around for over a week with Lash Genius – one eye coated and one eye bare – and never really had a chance to put it in action. And then my ol’ faithful laptop of four years crashed.
When you make your living off the works produced from your computer and it’s clearly seen better days, tears of frustraion ensue. However there was a silver lining to my computer’s misfortune. You can clearly see that the eye without Lash Genius is on a trip to Smudgeville, CA. Population – all the Great Lash mascaras I’ve thrown away through the years.
Lets also talk about marketing genuis, which would be the viewer Anastasia sent along which contains all the Lash Genius fact. Brilliant!
Lash Genius is perfect for all of those occassions when you might shed a tear – I like it and highly recommend this product. Anastasia Lash Genius retails for $21 and is available at Sephora.

How’s removal?
Not the pain I would have imagined. You do need a little extra elbow grease but its nowhere near the impossibility of the Lifespan False Fiber Lashes.
