Oh, how I tried to resist. I mean, really, why did I need this velvet-flocked palette anyway? I did just recently purchase the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette, which gives off a similar vibe to this Prism palette.
I have to blame it on Throne, that glorious forest green in the very middle of the second row of the palette. , one of 14 eye colors featured in this palette that’s a mix of shimmers and mattes. And then there’s Sphere. And Lucid. And Dimension. You get the point!
Based on the swatches alone, I have to admit I wasn’t quite feeling the palette – similar to the Subculture palette, they swatch on the patchy side. However, once I apply them it’s highly pigmented smooth sailing.
This is Ludid, Eden, Unity, Dimension, Parallel and Pyramid.
Sphynx, Throne, Osiris, and Saturn.
Sphere, Eternal, Obsidian, Lure.
The palette comes with a dual-ended brush that’s actually a very handy brush that works well!
My Final Thoughts: The Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Eye Shadow Palette officially gets my eyeshadow junkie seal of approval. Ulta has just released a 20% coupon for the Holiday season – this is a great way to spend it!
