This palette of shimmery pastel pinks, golds and cool matte tones was dreamed up by the daughter of Anastasia Beverly Hills, Claudia Soare, more commonly known by her moniker, Norvina. Anastasia focuses on the eyebrow portion of the Anastasia Beverly Hills brand and Norvina is in charge of the color collections. She created this palette with the intention of embodying her whimsical spirit and leave the user with a happy feeling. The pastel purple packaging sure appeals to my 80’s childhood and has a cheerful feel.
As much as I felt that I needed to have this palette as part of my continuing Anastasia Beverly Hills palette collection, I have to be honest and say I wasn’t entirely wowed by this palette at first. I do love purple eyeshadows and can appreciate the cool tones that are included, which are a departure from all warm palettes all the time. I wasn’t entirely won over until I started swatching the colors.
From left to right are: Dreamer, Summer, Wild Child, Rose Gold, Celestial, Dazzling and Drama.
Base, Soul, Incense, Love, Volatile, Eccentric and Passion.
These shadows are so smooth! I’ve never been extremely disappointed with Anastasia Beverly Hills powder eyeshadows, and these are the best yet. The shadows are highly pigmented and easy to blend and work with.
My Final Thoughts: Despite my initial wariness, I have to say the quality of Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Eyeshadow Palette is excellent and I’m definitely going to get lots of use out of this pretty and fun palette.
