A makeup artist friend posted this video on Facebook yesterday and I was instantly transfixed. Dang! It’s a crazy makeup marathon!
While this type of makeup is totally not even near being everyday looks, the video reminds me of the time when I was 14 or so and would crush eyeshadow and put it all over my face … just because I wanted to see what it would look like. Sad, but true.
It also reminds me that makeup is FUN … it truly is art, a medium for people to push boundaries and do things that make you think of the world in a different way.
Ain’t nothing wrong with that.

That’s a fun video! When I was a bored teenager on a Friday night, my girlfriends and I would get all goth crazy with my makeup, and it eventually ended up with us drawing all over our faces with lipstick and eyeliner.
LOL … those were some fun times.
