A long-time makeup artist, proprietor Lisa Winters came upon the idea of The Primping Parleur several years ago, and after years of carefully selecting the location and making sure the space perfectly reflected her vision, the doors were opened in 2007.

Designed by Lisa to bring a touch of glamour to the every day woman, she has succeeded and then some. The studio itself is gorgeous – one of those spaces you wish you could call your own! Luckily for all of us, The Primping Parleur is open to all and offers makeup applications, brow grooming, workshops, airbrush tanning, facials, and other salon services designed to make you feel and look your very best.

With two estheticians and Lisa providing makeup services, the studio is mainly appointment-only, but is open to the public with boutique hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The Parleur carries several hard-to-find brands, with every single product personally tested for approval by Lisa. All of the products are available online, as well, at The cosmetic and skin care brands include Becca, Kevyn Aucoin, Coola, Paul and Joe, Napoleon Perdis, Scott Barnes Body Bling, Yonka, Arcona, and Rosie Jane.

A large portion of The Primping Parleur’s business is bridal, and the location is perfect for bridal parties. For a gal’s big day, Lisa and her team make magic happen in the studio, and take care of every imaginable need, making things stress-free and fun.
