Painted Ladies

Welcome, to the first official post from the Painted Ladies. 

It’s been years in the making, this collaboration between a group of online beauty junkies, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s in store. Our story started with a love of makeup, but through the years it’s grown to encompass all facets of the beauty industry, internal and external.

We are real women … not paid spokespeople.

Our goal is simple: to share our knowledge, learn more about products and services we may not have known about, and to keep this site positive and progressive.

If you’d like to join the conversation, feel free to leave your comments and speak freely. Eventually we’ll add a forum to the mix, and we’re always accepting applications for bloggers. 

As for bloggers, we have three levels: Mavens, Mavenettes and Pros. The Mavens will post on a regular basis – 2 to 3 posts per week – and the Mavenettes will pop up every once in a while to provide their insights. Our Pro bloggers are working beauty-industry professionals who will bring a fresh voice to the mix by offering tips and advice you won’t find anywhere else.
