97/365 Days of Eyeshadow

By Sheila Arkee

It’s opposites day. :) The colors for today’s look are interchanged from a look I took from an Urban Decay ad. Speaking of Urban Decay, they have done the cosmetics world PROUD by introducing a new size and container for their famous Primer Potion, making millions of beauty junkies rejoice in praise!

On to the look!

Lid: 2

Under Lid: 1

Crease: 3

Liner (rims only): MAC Smolder

Brows: Stila Dark brow duo, darker shade

Mascara: CoverGirl Lash Blast

Very pretty! I am a Too Faced Shadow Insurance user myself, and one reason I gravitated toward TFSI was due to Urban Decay’s packaging. Even sillier was when they introduced the “improvement” in the form of a bent wand. It’s about time they just started selling the stuff in tubes. Sure, the genie bottle is cute, but cuteness is not going to make up for lack of functionality.

And think of how many people risked danger by cutting up those tubes!!!!

I thought about that. I am clumsy around knives. I would end up with stitches for sure. I ended up getting stitches while trying to slice a dinner roll!

I think Michelle Phan had a video about getting product out of the bottom of UDPP bottles without cutting. Basically jimmying out the plastic stopper and sticking it in a pot of hot water to melt it and pour it into a contact lens case. It seemed incredibly time consuming though…and I kind of like to invision someone taking a hack saw to frusterating packaging.

    LOL, Ninjagato

  • I hope they make the new packaging permanent and not LE! :(

But omg, this look is HOT <3 I may just have to steal it ;]
