I love to play around with my shadow colors and layer them with cream bases to see how they will change. The possibilities are so amazing, and I often come up with combos that knock my very own socks off. For today’s look, I layered a black cream base under an irridescent purple shadow – love it! You can also use a creamy black eyeliner (gel or pencil), smudged out, to achieve this look.
Base: MAC Bare Study Paint Pot
Lid Base: MAC Pro Black Cream Color Base
Lid: MAC Stars n Rockets
Outer Corner/Crease: MAC Knights Divine
Browbone: MAC Ricepaper
Liner (upper lid): MAC Boot Black
Liner (rims): MAC Smolder
Browbone: MAC Lingering
Mascara: CoverGirl Lash Blast

I love this. I’ve always wanted to try certain shadows over a black base, but I was worried I’d make a mess.
This is really pretty. I love using black as a base.
pretty irridecent purple! love it!…. and i love Lashblast mascara!
