There it was, catching my eye every time I went into the bedroom.
A Stila trio from almost a decade ago that had managed to stay buried in a plastic container for years, only to be recently resurrected by my nosy little two year old.
As much as I remembered not liking the colors – they’re not really purple, not really brown — I could never find myself to part ways with this relic from my youth. I recalled the colors showing up muddy, but maybe it was because I wasn’t using the right base? Perhaps my techniques from today would make a difference?

So pretty! How nice to find an old, hidden treasure!
It *is* always nice to find something you might have forgotten!
Pretty! I still have a crappy charcoal coloured eyeshadow that I used to use in high school, but I refuse to throw it out. I use it to tightline now
Pretty trio! I love the packaging. The shades are really nice.
