I have discovered a cool new trick to getting the most out of the 88 palettes – wet your brush before dipping it into the shadow. And no, it won’t affect the texture of the shadow, so you can breathe a sigh of relief!
Seriously, I just misted a flat, synthetic brush (MAC #242) with a little setting spray (Pur Minerals Fulvic Mineral Mist*) and it made an amazing difference in the vividness of the shadow.
Shadow colors are from the 88 Neutral Palette, this one is from BH Cosmetics.*
Base: MAC Bare Study Paint Pot
Lid: 1
Crease and Under Lid: 2
Browbone: 3
Liner: MAC Rosemary and Thyme Kohl
Brows: MAC Spiked
Mascara: Dior Show

Wetting your brush is the best trick, I usually dip it into the corner of the shadow so that I don’t wet the entire thing. Beautiful look, I love the green on you!
That’s a good point, Deepa!
