Yellow shadow isn’t always the easiest color to pull off – last year I posted a few yellow shadow looks and the reaction was … interesting! When I was at a MAC store recently, my eye was instantly drawn to Goldenrod. I can’t help it – I’m a bright shadow addict!
I added a green liner and only later realized those were my high school’s colors. And then I realized I graduated from high school eons ago. Where does the time go?!
Base: MAC Bare Study Paint Pot
Lid/Browbone: From Wet n Wild Comfort Zone palette
Outer Corner and Lower Lid: MAC Goldenrod
Inner Corner of Lower Lid: I Nuovi Metallogy Shadow in 06003 Silver

Liner (rims): Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On liner in Zero
Brows: Stila Dark Brow Duo, darker shade
Mascara: MAC Opulash
*Make Up For Ever provided for consideration.

How do you find the pigmentation/colour payoff on Goldenrod? I’m always drawn to it at the counter but worry that it’ll be like my MAC Plumage which is impossible to get colour from D:
Silhouette – It’s a satin and MUCH easier to blend. Their mattes are terrible, I totally agree!
