It’s round about near that festive time of the year. You know, when pumpkins, spices, and all things sugary and sweet emerge and everyone’s makeup game goes up another level. We’re in funky Halloween and Holiday smoky eyeshadow territory, y’all! In honor of this impending season, I thought I’d create an easy 4 step eyeshadow tutorial that takes a neutral eye up a notch with bold touches of fuchsia and gold.
This look can be completed fairly quickly and is a fun take on a neutral, smoky eye.
Easy peasy! Here’s a quick break down on how to accomplish this fun and festive look.
Step 1: Add a matte neutral shadow on the outer corner of your lid, a shimmery neutral shadow on your lid, and a matte neutral on your browbone.
Step 2: Use a flat brush or a pencil brush to pat on bright pink shadow in the inner tear duct and on the very inner corner of your eye, almost like a reverse smoky eye.
Step 3: In the place of liner, add a touch of gold eyeshadow along the lower lashes.
Step 4: Finish up with a swash of bold, black liquid liner. I used the ArtOnIt Le Stylo Art Beaute Yeux in Cat Noir.
The palettes I used for this tutorial include the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette.
Let the Holiday makeup games begin!
