I had an extremely hard time containing my excitement when I happened upon a discount Japanese store earlier this week. Everything in the store costs $1.50 – a little more expensive than the 99 cent store, but oh, so worth it!
Seriously, the store is like a little piece of heaven – I did a good job restraining myself and didn’t cause hardly any damage, but it’s so good to know I easy have access to wicked awesome false lashes and cool q-tips at a sweet price.
Along with a store-branded lip balm, I walked out with a blue shadow palette. I really wish I could say the palette was all that and a box of Pocky sticks, but sadly the only great shade is the shimmery white. The rest of the palette requires a lot of elbow grease to approximate any kind of pigmentation, so it does not receive my official seal of approval. Sad, because it could have been super good.
