“Give ’em the old RAZZLE DAZZLE, razzle dazzle ’em.” The very first time I watched the musical Chicago (sidenote: is it really 17 years old? What?) I remember being just stunned. Stunned and shocked and amazed by it’s excellence. In fact, the entire crowd at the movie theater stood up for a round of applause at the end! Can I say the same for the Too Faced Tutti Frutti Razzle Dazzle Berry Eyeshadow Palette I introduced you to yesterday.
Hem. Haw. Hemming and hawing before I give you my final answer, which is … no. I give it a solid B. I like this palette of champagne, pink, magenta, and purple toned eyeshadows, but ultimately it’s just not the greatest I’ve ever experienced. Decent, adorably packaged but the mattes aren’t as easy to blend as desired and the two silicone/oily shadows in this Ulta exclusive palette aren’t my favorite shadow texture.
With that being said, I did put together a few looks with this palette.
For this look I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Liner in Asphyxia on my lower waterline. On my upper liner I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Liner in Zero with the black shadow from this palette layered on top.
For this look I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Liner in Demolition on my upper lid.
For this look I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Liner in Fuchsia on my upper lid with the cranberry shadow from this palette layered on top.
In other news I just placed an order for the Sephora sale and I am SO EXCITED for the Pat McGrath shadow palette coming my way. I have high hopes! Did you place an order? What did you get?
