Blue Moon. Blue (da ba dee, da ba di), I’m Blue For You, Don’t Turn My Brown Eyes Blue. The brand new ColourPop Blue Moon Pressed Shadow Palette has me thinking of all those cheery tunes!
This 9 pan palette sure has a whole lotta blue eyeshadows to work with – and I’m totally here for it. It’s been a busy, busy, busy week in my non-Painted Ladies life, so creating three eyeshadow looks with this palette was a much welcomed diversion. It’s the end of the school year/schedules are changing/tasks need to be completed/blue eyeshadow palette take me away kinda week. You know?
As usual when it comes to ColourPop, I’m really impressed with the quality of this particular pressed shadow palette. It’s a mix of matte and shimmery eyeshadows done with excellence. Matte blues can be challenging, and I’m proud to report ColourPop nailed it!
To create this and all three looks look I used a beige eyeshadow on my browbone. The eyeliner on my upper lid Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Sabbath. My mascara for all three looks is L’Oreal Voluminous Feline Noir.
