Ok, so maybe I’m a bad Angeleno and didn’t really celebrate when our home team, the Lakers, won the world championship. I’m just not a sports person! However, I did come across a yellow eyeshadow and thought that maybe I could show off some local pride, even if its a week too late!
To get the intense purple, I used a special technique I’ll be sharing with you very soon in a future Breaking Down Beauty. Here’s a hint – it involves a certain type of brush!

Outer Corner/Crease and Lower Lashes: Purple from Cosmetique palette
Browbone: White from e.l.f. duo
Lower Rim Liner: MAC Fascinating
Upper Liner: MAC Boot Black liquid liner
Brows: Dark shade from Stila’s Dark brow duo
Mascara: Dior Show
Love it! When my local MAC counter had an event for the Style Warrior collection, the makeup artist did a similar look on me using Vibrant Grape and Bright Future. It was a lot of fun.
