Another day, yet another Wet n Wild Color Icon trio! This one is “I’m Getting Sunburned”, and I found that in order to get a really vivid application of a lid color, I had to use the sponge-tipped applicator that came with the shadows. The pink shade was placed on top of the inner portion of the lid, because I just couldn’t put a pink color on my browbone!
I also used the Copper liner from this collection, and it was another mediocre liner. Well, you win some, you lose some, I guess.
Base: MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot
Lid, Inner Lid, Outer Corner: From Wet n Wild Color Icon Trio in “I’m Getting Sunburned”
Browbone: Wet n Wild Nutty
Liner: Wet n Wild Color Icon Liner in Copper
Mascara: MAC Plush Lash

I didn’t have an issue getting a really opaque coat of the gold color with a stiff paddle brush. I did find that the dark brown color was waaaay too soft though, barely touching the shadow with a brush created a big crater.
While the liner might be mediocre, I love the way you applied it here! I’m going to have to try that sometime.
love the combination!
OMG!
that eyelid color is gorgeous!
do you know what could be a dupe for that in mac? i have been looking exactly for something like that but i know that it’s almost impossible to have the newest wet & wild products here in my country & i have been so wanting for a great color color like that! i’m willing to shed a few hundred bucks just to get my hands on that gorgeous shade!
Thiamere – Amber Lights! It’s a straight on dupe!
Wendy – yeah, that dark brown WAS really soft. So strange!
Nicole -thank you!!! That’s what this project is all about!
I love that Nutty is a highlighter for you, but today I wore it as a smokey lid color.
It’s really the weirdest color I’ve ever owned.
LOL! I know – I was so excited to try it as a smokey lid color and then it was like nothing on me! It’s a super versatile color.
