I admit its been eons since I’ve watched American Idol on a regular basis. The only season I regularly watched was the first, but when season 10 debuted with Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez on the judging panel, I had to tune in to episode 1 for curiosity’s sake.

Of course, J. Lo’s makeup did not disappoint. Perhaps the blush/bronzer could be taken down a notch, but the eyemakeup was phenomenal.

Needing to know what was going on with her makeup, I sent out a Tweet asking if anyone in Twitter-ville knew what was going on with the makeup, and someone suggested I ask Scott Barnes, who has done J. Lo’s makeup for many years.

And, so, I did:

And when I woke up the next morning to check my @ replies, this happened:

And I nearly lost it.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Unfortunately, the exact shades J. Lo wore remain a mystery, but I did my best to re-created the silvery glitter look.
