Question of the day – can red eyeshadow ever be subtle? Maybe not, but there’s no reason it can’t be used a bright focal point in an otherwise neutral eye. FYI, I am so hooked on the Makeup Geek shadows. I’ve said it before, but really – I am. I feel bad for all the other shadows I’ve been loving lately, because they are getting no attention!

  • Red can be subtle! It’s actually my favorite color to wear, so I’ve had to tone it down for more formal occasions. It really depends on the red you’re wearing- my ‘subtle’ reds are Inglot 450, 452, 495, and Aromaliegh Vampira, Antares, and Nasturium. I usually pair it with a gold or UD Sin.
