Question of the day – can red eyeshadow ever be subtle? Maybe not, but there’s no reason it can’t be used a bright focal point in an otherwise neutral eye. FYI, I am so hooked on the Makeup Geek shadows. I’ve said it before, but really – I am. I feel bad for all the other shadows I’ve been loving lately, because they are getting no attention!

Red can be subtle! It’s actually my favorite color to wear, so I’ve had to tone it down for more formal occasions. It really depends on the red you’re wearing- my ‘subtle’ reds are Inglot 450, 452, 495, and Aromaliegh Vampira, Antares, and Nasturium. I usually pair it with a gold or UD Sin.
