237/365 Days of Makeup

By Sheila Arkee

I try my hardest not to use discontinued products, but when I found this old, old school MAC color, I couldn’t resist incorporating it in today’s look. This is MAC’s Phase, which is most similar to Sushi Flower.

Base: Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Inner Lid: Gold from Wet n Wild Vanity palette

Lid: MAC Phase

Outer Corner: MAC Fig. 1

Browbone: Cream from Wet n Wild Vanity palette

Liner: Tokidoki Diamante

Brows: NYX Eyebrow Cake in Taupe/Ash

Mascara: CoverGirl LashBlast Fusion

*Tokidoki provided for consideration.

  • Wow super old school, how old is that? I’ve never seen a shadow with MAC on the side like that.

Believe it or not, I have a MAC shadow container that is even older than this one! I’ll have to find it in my stash somewhere.

This particular shadow is about 10-12 years old. I bought it at a beauty supply store called Namies in the LA area about 8 years ago.

  • Wow, now I know how my husbands feels when he finds an old Atari cartridge. I felt my pulse race when I saw that. I’d love to see more oldies..

You will fall over when you see the pigmentation in the old, old, old school shadow!
